![]() I think as it's an old mixer, I'm bound to get some hiss but have grown to like the sound anyway, it was just a problem when it was too much in the background and starting to overshadow what I'd actually recorded. ![]() As I said, I have managed to reduce it now by swapping over the audio out cable from the mixer to the audio interface and that has helped a lot. I know for a fact the hissing is coming from my old Tascam M-06 mixer as I have been able to isolate all my other devices and use them independently and directly into my audio interface with no problem, the hissing only occurs when I use the mixer. ![]() It's not so much a problem with hum that I have (I think I've posted previously about that and have seen those sites/devices you linked to), more a problem with hiss and the occasional crackle. ![]()
